Warranty overview

Prestige Designs Group Ltd, trading as BBQ Stove, warrants each new BBQStove against manufacturing defects from its original delivery date, subject to the terms set out on this page.

This warranty applies to BBQStoves supplied and used in England. The same stated warranty periods apply where the BBQStove is purchased for domestic or commercial use.

The warranty is provided to the original purchaser and proof of purchase may be required when making a claim.

02

Five-year structural cover

For five years from the original delivery date, the warranty covers manufacturing defects affecting:

  • The main steel body
  • Structural welded joints
  • The integral base and storage section
  • The oven door structure
  • The structural integrity of the grill support
03

Two-year component cover

For two years from the original delivery date, the warranty covers manufacturing defects affecting:

  • Original hinges and handles
  • Air-control fittings
  • The supplied thermometer
  • The original grill plate
  • Original removable components and fitted hardware

Replacement parts remain available outside the warranty period, subject to availability and the applicable charge.

04

What is not covered

A BBQStove is a live-fire steel product. Heat, weather and regular cooking will naturally alter its appearance. The warranty does not cover:

  • Normal cosmetic changes caused by heat, weather or use
  • Surface discolouration, weathering or superficial corrosion that does not affect structural integrity
  • Normal wear and tear
  • Damage caused by misuse, impact, neglect, unauthorised modification or incorrect handling
  • Damage caused by unsuitable fuels, chemicals, cleaning products or cleaning methods
  • Corrosion resulting from neglected maintenance or prolonged exposure without appropriate protection
  • Accidental damage, loss, theft or damage caused by a third party

Changes in colour, finish and surface appearance caused by heat are natural characteristics of a live-fire steel product and do not necessarily indicate a manufacturing defect.

05

Looking after your BBQStove

Every model includes a marine-grade all-weather cover. To help maintain the product and protect its finish:

  • Allow the BBQStove to cool completely before fitting its cover
  • Keep the BBQStove reasonably clean and remove standing water or accumulated debris
  • Use appropriate fuels and follow the supplied operating and care guidance
  • Inspect the product periodically and contact us if a structural concern becomes apparent
06

Making a warranty claim

Please email our claims team with your name, order number, delivery date, a description of the issue and clear photographs showing the affected area.

Where a claim is accepted, BBQ Stove will assess the most appropriate remedy. This may be a repair, a replacement component or, where repair is not reasonable, replacement of the affected product.

Reasonable delivery or collection costs associated with an accepted warranty claim in England will be covered by BBQ Stove.
