Built, not assembled.
Each BBQ Stove begins as steel selected for the model being made. Its parts are measured, cut, formed and welded in our workshop before the cooking system, removable components and chosen finish are added.

Measure & cut
The dimensions are set for the chosen model and the individual body components are measured and cut from steel.

Form the body
The steel is shaped into the body, oven, lid and base that give the BBQ Stove its distinctive silhouette.

Weld by hand
Joints, supports, handles and working parts are fabricated and welded by our workshop team.

Fit the cooking system
The removable coal tray, solid 3mm stainless-steel grill and internal components are fitted into place.

Prepare & finish
The surface is prepared, the selected finish is applied and the complete stove is assembled and checked before it leaves us.
Keeping the process in our own workshop means each stove remains close enough to inspect, adjust and finish properly at every stage.
Every part has a job to do.
The BBQ Stove is kept deliberately mechanical: a fabricated steel body, removable working parts and a solid cooking surface, brought together as one grill, oven, smoker and separate fire-pit system.

Solid stainless-steel grill
Food cooks on a removable, solid 3mm stainless-steel grill plate positioned directly above the charcoal.

Mild-steel body
The main body, oven, lid and base are fabricated from mild steel to create the stove's structure and enclosed cooking chambers.

Removable coal tray
The live cooking fuel sits in the upper grill area on a removable coal tray, keeping the fire where the cooking system is designed to use it.

Enclosed oven section
Heat from the upper fire is drawn into the enclosed oven, allowing the same stove to roast, bake and cook more gently.

Hidden fire pit
A separate fire pit is concealed within the base. When the completely cold upper BBQ section is removed, the base can be used independently as a fire pit.

Fabricated working parts
Handles, hinges, supports and internal fittings are made and fitted as part of the workshop build rather than arriving as a flat-pack assembly.
Fire-pit conversion: the upper BBQ section is heavy and must be lifted by two adults only when the BBQ, fuel and ash are completely cold. It should be placed securely on a stable, level and non-combustible surface.

Once fabrication is complete, each stove is prepared for its chosen finish, assembled with its removable components and checked before it leaves our Essex workshop.

Surface preparation
The fabricated body is prepared so the final coating can be applied cleanly and consistently.

Final fit and inspection
The grill, removable coal tray, oven section, hidden fire pit and fabricated working parts are checked for fit and operation before dispatch.
